This year, you have the choice to nominate someone using the online format below OR submitting a
paper nomination by printing a nomination form at the bottom of the page and delivering to Committee Chair Neal Charske or mailing it to us via USPS.
Nominations are accepted from April 1 through July 31.

The members of Dor-Wood Optimist Club of Kettering would like to ask for your support and help in selecting the annual recipient of our “Friend of Youth, Citizen of the Year” award.
There are many adult individuals in our community who have given much of their time and energy to youth projects, activities and mentoring. Through our “Friend of Youth, Citizen of the Year” award, we wish to honor an individual each year for outstanding efforts in contributing to the growth and development of youth.
Please consider nominating someone (NOT a DorWood member) who you feel is deserving of this annual award. A committee of club members will consider all nominations and our board of directors will vote on the committee recommendations. The award ceremony will take place during our club’s fall installation banquet held at the Kohler Banquet Center.
